For decades, the 'Morning Star' brand has been the most popular Japanese incense in the West, and you can find 4 varieties on this website.
Each box contains 50 sticks and a holder. They are 12 cm long and have a burning time of approximately 25 minutes per stick.
You can use one or more varieties to create your own unique atmosphere. In 2004, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency examined various incense products available on the Danish market; at that time, Morning Star performed the best across all measured criteria.
Myrrh is derived from the dried gum resin of the myrrh tree—also known as *Commiphora abyssinica*. It originates from Somalia, where the milky-white gum resin is harvested and left to dry for three weeks. The resin turns reddish-brown and has been used for millennia in applications such as embalming, ointments, and incense.
