The brand 'Morning Star' has been the most popular Japanese incense in the West for decades, and on this website you can find 4 varieties.
There are 50 sticks in the box and a holder. They are 12 cm long and have a burning time of approx. 25 min. per stick.
You can use 1 or more variants to create your own atmosphere. In 2004, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency investigated the different incenses on the Danish market, and at that time Morning Star was the incense with the best values in all measurements.
Frankincense, also known as Oblibanum, originates from Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, etc.
The scent is known from, among other things, Catholic churches, and in the Japanese version it is a very pure and refined version. Frankincense is extracted from resin from 4 different types of trees, the resin is transparent silver or milky white when harvested, and after some time it becomes yellowish or dark in color. The resin is extracted 2-3 times a year.
